1. Sugar-free chewed gum should be collected in a clean paper envelope and sent to the lab immediately.

2. When collecting the samples avoid touching the gum with your fingers.

3. The samples should be properly labelled with the name of the participant, date of birth and test ID.

4. The chewed gum should not contain dirt.
